Flu shots, The Planets, & Late Nights....

Thursday I learned that my work hours were going to change for a while. I knew it would happen, but wasn't sure exactly when that was. I guess I'm learning my job well enough to put me working 3pm-Midnight during the week. The hours are crap hours, I agree, but its OK. I'll learn a lot and it'll help me prepare for what I'll have to do in NYC. My only drawback is that it will prevent me from spending more time with my family before I move. Usually I'll see friends on the weekend, and since I live at home, I'll see the folks during the week. Now I feel like I'll have to juggle my time more. I'm hoping a good compromise will surface soon.

Friday night was awesome! My friends and I had tickets to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to see Gustav Holst's "The Planets". What an amazing performance. I'm very partial to this pice of musical goodness, because I've performed two of the movements (Mars & Jupiter) back in highschool then in college. Really... if you don't like classical music, just give those two a listen.. you might gain a new respect for the classics.

So Monday starts my new work schedule. If anyone wants to come up to Buckhead on my dinner break, that'd be very cool. If you want to meet me after work for a drink, I might just buy the first round. :o) Think about it and get back with me.

I'm serious about buying a round... I can't do it every time, but at least the first time around.
