one more week...

Its 6:15 am and I'm sitting here at my desk w/ a fresh cup of coffee. The night's been pretty quiet here at work, but lots of work is getting done. I'm tired and ready to go home and get some sleep. You see, my last week here at the Atlanta office, I'm working 3rd shift to train someone. From here, I go to New York and start work in the Manhattan office on the 28th. My boss told me he ordered a laptop, but its been 2 weeks and it's yet to arrive. I don't need it yet and not having it would make my load lighter to carry up there, but I will need it soon.

This has been a very good, a very long, and a very tiring weekend. Comming off of 4 hrs sleep from Saturday night, I didn't go to bed till 9am Monday morning. No, I wasn't out partying or anything. I was just burning my candle at both ends so I can get as much time in with many different people who are all over the map. Add work, and I've got my hands full.

I told someone the other day that it'll be nice to move to the busiest city in the US, because then my life will finally slow down some. That is, until, I make friends and over-commit myself to varoius places & people like I've always done in Atlanta.

For you readers out there... leave a comment so I know someones out there. I do this for myself mostly, but its nice to share your journey with someone.

Thank goodness I came across your blog - my eyes have been closing due to how slow it is at work! I guess now I have answers to my previous questions I asked about your move. :) Hang in there til the move...and ENJOY the rest of your time in Atlanta! Talk to you soon.
